December 19, 2014 Disappearance Uddharana Datta Thakura

Uddharana Datta Thakura was a close associate of Lord Nityananda. Raised in a family of gold merchants, he later married and became a wealthy minister. The Lord Nityananda would often stay at home. At the age of twenty-six, Uddharana Datta Thakura gave up his home and family and joined the group of sankirtana of Lord Nityananda. See Sri Caitanya-caritamrta, Adi-lila 11.41

Uddharana Datta Thakura era un asociado íntimo del Señor Nityananda. Criado en una familia de comerciantes de oro, luego de casarse se tornó un rico ministro. El Señor Nityananda permanecía con frecuencia en su casa. A la edad de veintiséis años, Uddharana Datta Thakura renunció a su casa y familia y se unió al grupo de Sankirtana del Señor Nityananda.
