June 16 2015 Disappearance Sri Gadadhara Pandita

Gadadhara Pandita spent most of his life in Jagannatha Puri, worshiping the Deity of Tota-Gopinatha, which is still worshiped in Puri. Gadadhara Pandita is considered an incarnation of Srimati Radharani, the eternal consort of Sri Krishna. His appearance is Amavasya (new moon) of the month of Vaisakha. See Sri Caitanya-caritamrta, Adi-lila 10.15 and 16130-148. 

Sri Gadadhar was the constant companion of Mahaprabhu since childhood. His father's name was Sri Madhva Misra and his mother Ratnavati Sri-devi. They lived near the house of Sri Jagannatha Misra in Mayapur. Ratnavati-devi thought of Saci-devi as her own sister, and always used to visit. 

During his childhood, Sri Gaura Hari and Gadadhara played together, sometimes at home and sometimes at Mahaprabhu Gadadhara house. Both studied together in the same school. Gadadhara was a few years younger than Nimai. Nimai could not remain without Gadadhara even for a moment and Gadadhara likewise could not bear to be separated from Nimai. 

In the Gaur-ganoddesa-dipika, it is described that the person who was the daughter of Vraja Sri Vrsabhanu Raja, namely Srimati Radharani, is now celebrated as Sri Gadadhara Pandita. 

Sri Vasudeva Ghosa Thakura has written: "The Lord Gaurasundara, Who is beyond the view of the scriptures, beyond the entire Brahman, and even on the Vedas, can never be known by the atheists whose intelligence is crude Lord Nityananda. is His eternal being. Lord Caitanya is Lord Govinda Himself and Pandita Gadadhara is none other than Sri Radha. divine couple, which is present in Sri Caitanya, is a reservoir of rasa. Advaita Acharya (Sadasiva) prayed for His descent . 

Inside He is blackish, but a golden hue without, the manifestation of the divine couple. Thus Vasudeva Ghosa sings about the beauty of this divine couple - Sri Gaura-Gadadhara - in whose worship he has been completely subjugated. He prays that want to serve you birth after birth. "

While Sri Isvara Puri was present for a few months at home in Nabadwip Sri Gopinath Acarya, he taught Gadadhara from the book he had composed, Sri Krsna Lilamrta. 

Gadadhara was from his very childhood very serene, patient, calm, quiet, taste for solitude and very renounced. Nimai Pandit during His precious youth to his fellow students had questions of logic and misleading nonsense. Gadadhara however, was not particularly taste of this pastime, and therefore sometimes used to stay at a distance from Nimai. But Nimai not let him go. He said: "In a very short time Gadadhara I will become such a Vaisnava that Lord Brahma and Lord Siva themselves will come to my door!."

Gadadhara Pandita pasó la mayor parte de su vida en Jagannatha Puri, adorando la Deidad de Tota-Gopinatha, la cual aún es adorada en Puri. Sri Gadadhar fue el compañero constante de Mahaprabhu desde su niñez. Su padre se llamaba Sri Madhva Misra, y su madre Sri Ratnavati-devi. Vivían cerca de la casa de Sri Jagannatha Misra en Mayapura. Ratnavati-devi pensaba en Saci-devi como su propia hermana, y siempre solía visitarla.
Durante su niñez, Sri Gaura Hari y Gadadhara jugaban juntos, a veces en casa de Mahaprabhu y a veces en casa de Gadadhara. Ambos estudiaron juntos en la misma escuela. Gadadhara era unos pocos años más joven que Nimai. Nimai no podía permanecer  sin Gadadhara siquiera por un momento y Gadadhara igualmente no podía soportar estar separado de Nimai.

En el Gaur-ganoddesa-dipika, se describe que la persona que en Vraja era la hija de Sri Vrsabhanu Raja, a saber Srimati Radharani, es ahora  célebre como Sri Gadadhara Pandita.

Sri Vasudeva Ghosa Thakura ha escrito: "El Señor Gaurasundara, Quien está más allá de la vista de las escrituras, más allá del entero Brahman, e incluso sobre los Vedas, nunca puede ser conocido por los ateos cuya inteligencia es  burda. El Señor Nityananda es Su eterno ser. El Señor Caitanya es el Señor Govinda Mismo y Pandita Gadadhara no es otro que Sri Radha. La divina pareja, que está presente en Sri Caitanya, es un reservorio de rasa. Advaita Acarya (Sadasiva) ha orado por Su descenso.
Por dentro Él es  negruzco, pero de una tonalidad dorada por fuera, la manifestación de la pareja divina. Así Vasudeva Ghosa canta acerca de la belleza de esta divina pareja - Sri Gaura-Gadadhara – en cuya adoración él ha sido completamente subyugado. Él reza para que desee servirles nacimiento tras nacimiento."

Mientras Sri Isvara Puri estaba presente por unos pocos meses en Navadwipa en la casa de  Sri Gopinath Acarya, él le enseño  a Gadadhara del libro que él había compuesto, Sri Krsna Lilamrta.

Gadadhara fue desde su misma niñez muy sereno, paciente,  calmado, tranquilo, de gusto por la soledad y muy renunciante. Nimai Pandit durante Su preciosa juventud hacía a Sus  compañeros estudiantes preguntas de lógica engañosas y sin sentido. Gadadhara no obstante, no era especialmente del gusto de este pasatiempo, y por ello a veces solía permanecer  a cierta distancia de Nimai. Pero  Nimai no le permitía irse. Él le decía: "Gadadhara! En muy corto tiempo yo me convertiré en tal Vaisnava que el Señor Brahma y el Señor Siva mismos vendrán a  Mi puerta.”
