Vidyabhusana Srimad Baladeva Prabhu, had no desire for fame and name and was the author of many Vaishnava literature. After becoming an expert on all these issues, he visited many holy places. Finally he stayed in a temple of the followers of Sripad Madhvacharya. After this, he took Sannyasi and preached throughout India.
The Gaudiya Vaishnava, had no comment on the Vedanta-sutras, there was a real disciplic line and therefore they were not properly worshiping Govindaji or any other Deity of Baladeva Vrndavan.Srila Vidyabhusana then quickly wrote the Govinda-Bashya. He also wrote comments The Upanishads and the Bhagavad Gita.
