At age 90 he wrote Sri Caitanya-caritamrta, he is the incarnation of Kasturi-manjari.
Receiving the mercy of Lord Nityananda in a dream, he left for Vrndavana with a cheerful mind. The lotus feet of the spiritual master of Sri Kaviraja were none other than the Lord himself Nityananda.
He accepted the Gosvamis Sri Rupa, Sri Sanatana, Sri Jiva, Sri Raghunatha, Sri Raghunatha Bhatta and Sri Gopala Bhatta as their spiritual teachers. Lokanatha Gosvami and Sri Raghunatha Bhatta Gosvami Sri he obtained permission to write Sri Caitanya-caritamrta.
Krsnadasa Sri Kaviraja Gosvami compiled the following books: lilamrta Sri Govinda, Krsna-karnamrta commentary and of course, Sri Caitanya-caritamrta.
